WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO AN APPOINTMENT?
You can just wear your normal clothes. We have a selection of shorts and gowns available should these be required. Don’t forget to bring your sports shoes for your podiatry appointment!

WHAT COVID ALERT LEVEL CAN I BE SEEN IN CLINIC?
We can only see patients in person at alert level 2 or lower. When we are at alert level 2 please do not bring in family members if avoidable due to social distancing requirements in the waiting rooms.  

CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CHRISTCHURCH GYM?
Yes, we offer memberships at our Christchurch gym which means you can come in and use the gym Monday to Friday 6am-8pm and Saturday 8am-4pm. We have shower facilities too, so you can freshen up after your workout if you are heading back to work.

CAN I CHOOSE A MALE OR FEMALE THERAPIST?
Absolutely. Our practitioners work a wide range of hours, so we are sure to have one to suit you.

DO I NEED TO BRING IN FOOTWEAR FOR MY PODIATRY APPOINTMENT?
Yes if you have a foot pain or concern please bring in the 3 pairs of footwear you were most frequently and the specific shoes for your chosen sport.

I HAVE AN INGROWN NAIL, CAN THE PODIATRIST DO SURGERY ON THIS AT THE TIME OF MY INITIAL APPOINTMENT?

No. Often Ingrown nails can be cleared without surgery at your first appointment. However, should surgery be required all the pre-operative procedures at this first consultation in order to ensure you are an appropriate candidate for surgery. You will be booked for a surgical time after you have been assessed. Please bring in a list of any medication or allergies you may have.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE ONE OF YOUR PHYSIOS, PODIATRISTS, MASSAGE THERAPISTS OR NUTRITIONISTS?
No. You can just call up one of our friendly reception team to make an appointment direct with any of our practitioners.

DO YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO PARK?
Yes, we have plentiful onsite parking, and on street parking is also available.

I DON’T NEED THE APPOINTMENT ANY MORE. HOW DO I CANCEL?
Just give us a call. We would appreciate at least 4 hours notice for cancellations. Charges can apply for failure to attend a booked appointment.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
You are welcome to bring your children. We have a selection of toys and colouring books to keep little ones amused.

ARE YOU ACC ACCREDITED?
Yes, we are for physio, podiatry and osteopathy. Our clinics use the latest medical software and the practitioner can fill out the ACC forms during your consultation. If ACC accept the claim it means ACC will pay some of your consultation. There will still be a surcharge on top of this.

I’M ON CRUTCHES OR IN A WHEELCHAIR – HOW CAN I GET INTO THE BUILDING?
No problem at all – we have a ramp to facilitate easy access.

CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards (except American Express) and can also take EFTPOS payments.

DO YOU DO HOME VISITS?
No, unfortunately we do not offer this service.

DO YOU ACCEPT THE COMMUNITY SERVICES GOLD CARD?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept this card.
