Kath Arnold

Vocational Facilitator

About me

Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing, Work Rehabilitation Paper

Kath holds a Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing and has completed a Vocational Rehabilitation paper, combining her clinical background with a holistic approach to recovery. With a strong foundation in paediatric and oncology nursing, she now focuses on medical consumable assessments and vocational rehab – specially supporting return-to-work programs around the Tauranga/Mount Maunganui Port.

She loves helping people navigate their rehab journey, especially when it involves visiting workplaces and learning about different industries. Moving from the hospital setting into vocational work has given Kath a chance to use her nursing skills in new and meaningful ways.

Originally from Wellington, Kath moved to Tauranga as a kid and has also lived in London and Auckland. These days she splits her time between Tauranga and Morrinsville, where her partner lives.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kath crocheting baby blankets or trying to keep her garden alive. If she could have a superpower, it would be telepathy – so she could better understand and support the people she works with.

Marley Verbeek

Vocational Facilitator

About me

Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy)

Marley is a physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy), working in vocational rehabilitation with Active Health NZ and musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Active Health Waikato. She enjoys working across paediatrics, sport, and vocational rehab, tailoring treatment and goals to suit each person’s lifestyle and what really matters to them.

With a strong sporting background and plenty of experience working with children, Marley was drawn to physiotherapy as a way to combine movement with helping people of all ages. She loves the variety the role brings and finding practical, realistic ways to help clients overcome barriers and keep moving forward.

Originally born in South Africa and half German, Marley was raised in Hamilton, spent a couple of years working in Melbourne, and has now returned home to New Zealand.

Outside of work, Marley plays competitive hockey, enjoys running, and is a secret baker and artist. If she had to eat one meal for the rest of her life? A fish burger – all the best things in one

Belinda Midson

About me

Registered Nurse

Belinda is a Registered Nurse with a strong interest in Occupational Health. In recent years, her work has focused on supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of workers across a wide range of industries. With a solid clinical background and a good understanding of workplace health systems, Belinda works closely with both employees and employers to promote safe work practices, injury prevention, and early intervention.

She loves the variety that nursing offers, the relationships built along the way, and the real satisfaction that comes from helping people. Belinda is passionate about creating healthier workplaces through practical, evidence-based solutions that support both individual wellbeing and organisational success.

Belinda grew up with a farming background, studied nursing straight after college, and has followed many rewarding career paths since. She now lives in the South Waikato.

Outside of work, Belinda enjoys gardening and everything that comes with it – preserving, baking, and cooking. If she could have a superpower, it would be time travel, so she could experience history firsthand and see what the future holds
