Nationwide
Kate holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions.
She works across a broad range of occupational therapy areas, with a strong focus on mental health. Kate is passionate about supporting people through complex or challenging periods, helping them build confidence, independence, and sustainable routines for everyday life and work.
Kate was drawn to occupational therapy by her desire to make a genuine difference. She understands that navigating the healthcare system can feel overwhelming, and she loves being a friendly, supportive presence, helping make things clearer and easier for people when they need it most.
Originally from Tauranga, Kate has been living in Christchurch for the past two years.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys Pilates, reading, travelling, and spending quality time with her niece and nephew. If she were an animal, she’d be a dog — loyal, friendly, and happiest when spending time with people she cares about, with a strong appreciation for a good nap in between.
