About us
Active Health for an Active Life
We’re here to help you thrive
At Active Health, people come first. We exist to help New Zealanders live healthier, more active lives – and we do that by treating the whole person, not just the injury.
Whether you’re an athlete chasing performance goals, a parent keeping up with your kids, or someone who simply wants to move without pain, we’re here to support you. Our multidisciplinary team brings together specialists across physical, nutritional, and emotional health – working together so your care is connected, not fragmented.
No referral needed. Just get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
How we work
Active Health is built on four values that shape everything we do.
People-centered care
You’re not a number or a condition. We take the time to understand what matters most to you and build your care around that.
Positivity
Health challenges can feel overwhelming. We bring an optimistic, can-do approach that helps you focus on what’s possible – not just what’s wrong.
Proactive partnership
Your health is a collaboration. We work alongside you, keep you informed, and make sure you feel empowered through every step of your journey.
Whole-person focus
Your body, your mind, and your nutrition are all connected. Lasting health comes from addressing all three – and that’s exactly what we do.
Can we help you?
We treat a wide range of health issues – from acute injury to long-term chronic conditions – for people of all ages. If you’re not sure what you need, that’s okay. We’ll take the time to understand what’s going on and point you in the right direction.
We work with people who are:
- Recovering from an injury or accident
- Living with ongoing or recurring pain
- Returning to work after time away
- Looking to improve movement, strength, and overall wellbeing
- Navigating the ACC process and not sure where to start

What support do you provide?
Our team covers a wide range of services – from physiotherapy and podiatry to occupational health, mental health support, and nutrition. No matter who you see, you’ll get care that’s built around your goals, not a generic treatment plan.
We’re ACC-accredited, which means if you’ve had an accident, you can book directly with us – no GP visit required.
And because our team works collaboratively, your care doesn’t stop at one appointment. We communicate across disciplines, track your progress, and stay involved until you’re genuinely where you want to be.
