Originally from Belgium, Evi moved to Auckland, New Zealand, as a child but maintains strong family ties to Belgium and France, traveling back every year or two. She graduated from AUT with a degree in Occupational Therapy, then spent several years working in medical administration and management in Auckland before relocating to Christchurch in August 2021.

Now based in Christchurch, Evi is enjoying the chance to finally make use of her handmade (and slightly subversive) knitted garments. She shares her home with Rosie, a retired Greyhound, and the two love exploring Bottle Lake Forest and Taylors Mistake. After years of apartment living in Auckland, she is also embracing the challenge of managing a garden.

Evi joined Active Health in September 2024 and is focused on building her knowledge and finding the best ways to support the ICP and wider Active Health teams. She loves the variety of projects she is involved in and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people.
