 Podiatrist – New Graduate/Experienced

Active Health RANGIORA are seeking a dedicated Podiatrist to join our patient-focused multidisciplinary team. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or a recent graduate eager to apply your knowledge, we welcome you to become part of our dynamic healthcare practice. 

This role would suit part or full-time work, contracted or salaried for a practitioner who starting out in the profession, wanting to make a change or considering a move from overseas.  

Support, mentorship, and guidance are available should it be needed. With opportunities to gain CPD points through our in-house in-service meetings. CPD allowance, support with APC and Registration fees for salaried employees and access for all staff to the amazing gym facilities is also part of package provided to the successful applicant. 

Active Health Rangiora is team of experienced Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Osteopath, Vocational Clinicians, Pelvic Health, Women’s Health and Cancer Rehabilitation services.

Patient load would initially focus on general Podiatry services however the growing North Canterbury population and our locations at the Rangiora Fitness Centre and MainPower Stadium offer the opportunity to build a large sporting client base.  

All our locations are an easy 25min drive north from the centre of Christchurch and against the flow of traffic making for a simple commutate. Or locate yourself in the region on the doorstep of rivers, hills, vineyards and ski fields.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with a positive and proactive approach to healthcare to join our team. The position can be tailored to suit part or full-time work, contracted or salaried for a practitioner who is ready to enter the workforce, take their career to the next level, or considering a move from overseas.

Remuneration package will be dependent on experience and hours available to work, with a gym membership, study allowance and many extras part of the package provided for the successful applicant. Continued professional development allowance, support with APC and Registration fees is available for salaried employees.

 Physiotherapist – New Graduate/Experienced

Active Health is a nationwide healthcare provider with clinics located in the Waikato and Canterbury regions. Our team consists of qualified professionals, including physiotherapists, sports physicians, podiatrists, occupational nurses, osteopaths, occupational therapists, nutritionists, and massage therapists. About the Role:

This is a full-time (hours negotiable) on-site role for a Physiotherapist at our clinic located in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating personalised treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic exercises to help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall physical wellbeing. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and work closely with patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Our ideal applications would have:

  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal system
  • Experience in conducting assessments and creating personalised treatment plans
  • Proficient in implementing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Current registration and practicing certificate with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board (or about to gain registration if new graduate)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or related field
  • Post-graduate certification or specialisation in a specific area of physiotherapy (e.g. sports rehabilitation, orthopaedics, women’s health, hand therapy) is a plus
  • Relevant work experience in private practice musculoskeletal physiotherapy
